It is that time of year! The clean, unsoiled cover of snow has melted to leave not so desirable results on the roadside. This year's roadside clean up will take place on Saturday, May 9th at 9:30AM. Anyone interested can meet the crew at the Northshore Rd. Clear Lake Cottagers' Association Sign Post. Can't make it on the 9th? You can help by participating any day of the week!
On March 12, the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) released the final decision on the Hydro One electricity distribution rate proposal EB-2013-0416/EB-2014-0247.
A significant part of this decision was the elimination of the "Seasonal Class" of customer. Many questions still remain about specific customer impacts.
